After a pretty quiet summer in terms of commitments for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, this past week has dished out some very good news. 3-star running back Jahmir Smith and 4-star athlete Shayne Simon both made their pledges to the Irish.

4-star linebacker Jack Lamb is ready to make his commitment tonight at 8:00 EST. The sixth-ranked inside linebacker in the country has the Irish, UCLA Bruins and Penn State Nittany Lions in his final three.
