The Notre Dame Fighting Irish finalized its 2021 recruiting class on National Signing Day, and one last giant part of the puzzle made the proper fit. At a ceremony at Archbishop Rummel High School in Louisiana, 3-Star running back Logan Diggs announced that he was still committed and will sign with the Irish instead of the LSU Tigers.
Diggs originally committed to Notre Dame back in July, and at the time was the only Irish running back commitment. Notre Dame had pushed hard for 5-Star Will Shipley in the spring, and after he decided to choose the Clemson Tigers, the Irish put a much bigger effort into a handful of other guys — and Logan Diggs was one of them at the top of their list.
