While the Notre Dame football has landed many top commits — good for the No.5 spot in the 2020 class rankings according to 247sports.com — Brian Kelly and Co. are still hungry for more.
Just in the past few weeks, the Irish have landed big-time commitments from top-of-the-list recruits such as wide receivers Jay Brunelle and Xavier Watts, as well as cornerbacks Landen Bartleson and Caleb Offord.
Realistically, with 17 guys already, Notre Dame could call it quits on the 2020 recruiting trail. Yes, it would be a smaller class, but the Irish have filled most of their holes with solid talent.
