A 2019 athlete from Illinois, Kendall Abdur-Rahman, has committed to Notre Dame. Rahman picked the Irish Sunday night after having taken multiple visits to South Bend, with the most recent being for the Michigan game for the season opener. He was on campus with some of his family and that visit most likely sealed the deal for him to finally pull the trigger.
At the moment Rahman holds 8 offers from a list that is laden with Big Ten teams, from the likes of Michigan State, Iowa, Purdue and more. Even though he’s completely solid to his Irish commitment, I do expect other schools to continue to offer him because of his position flexibility and how athletic he is, which is a good thing.
