The Notre Dame Fighting Irish added their 5th commitment of the 2021 class on Tuesday with the pledge of 3-Star Athlete JoJo Johnson from Merrillville, Indiana. Johnson was once committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats when Mike Mickens was on their staff, but he decommitted in October and found the offer from Mickens to play at Notre Dame too good to pass up.
The Irish continue to add athletes to this class, and Johnson certainly fits the mold. He could be used at wide receiver or cornerback once he gets to Notre Dame, but for right now he does fall into the cornerback position.
