Since taking over as head coach of the Notre Dame football program, Brian Kelly has coached his fair share of elite players. Recently, we put together a list of the top-25 players to play for the Irish within this Era, and Quenton Nelson was rated the No. 3 player on that list.
During his time at Notre Dame, Nelson was as dominant as they come from his offensive guard position, and in 2017, was named a unanimous All-American. He was an anchor along an offensive line that paved the way for Josh Adams, who rushed for over 1,400 yards that season, as the Irish moved the ball at will on the ground.
