Back in 2018 when the Notre Dame Fighting Irish went 12-0 in the regular season and went to the College Football Playoff to take on the Clemson Tigers in the Cotton Bowl, they got a new uniform version that Under Armour called “Rush For Gold.” The subtle changes were universally liked by fans, and we have wondered for years why they didn’t just those as their full-time uniforms.
