In a bit of a surprising move, Senior Miles Boykin announced that he will be declaring for the NFL Draft. It seemed as though he was leaning towards a return to South Bend for a fifth year, but Boykin must have a good feeling about his stock coming off a breakout senior year. He burst onto the scene last year in one of the most famous catches in recent memory in a game against the LSU Tigers. Boykin will finish his career with 77 catches, over 1,200 yards, and 11 touchdowns.
This will be a big blow for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Ian Book specifically, who clearly leaned on Boykin throughout the year.
