Notre Dame Football: Marcus Freeman wins Dodd Coach of the Year award

It’s been an incredible season for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish as they are 12-1 and set to play in the college football playoff quarterfinals against the Georgia Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl.

That’s a long way away from being 1-1 following the NIU loss. Much of the credit for Notre Dame’s resilience to that loss belongs to Marcus Freeman — and it must’ve been one heck of a job.
