Notre Dame Fighting Irish head football coach Marcus Freeman met with journalists Thursday to talk injuries, drop names and tell what sends coordinators upstairs or down.
Riley Leonard’s Competitive Aspect
On the competitive nature of the Irish QB on and off the field and through the year, the coach said, “We had the players at our house during fall camp and you could see Riley Leonard on the basketball court or playing ping pong. The competitive spirit comes out. You can see it in two-minute drills, winner-loser situations in practice. I think that is so contagious.
