One of the more exciting things about a new season is all of the incoming freshmen that will join the team this summer (if they haven’t already enrolled in the spring). Let’s refresh our memory a little by revisiting the 2016 class.

Is it just me, or is there still a stigma surrounding the Notre Dame defensive backfield? It doesn’t matter how well they have played in the recent past or the number of players that have moved on to the NFL, the group still has this dark cloud of presumptions around it. Most notably, the perception is that Notre Dame defensive backs are slow and slow and slow.
