The National Football Foundation announced its ballot of former college football players that will be on the ballot to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Among the 76 players and 6 coaches from the FBS that were on this ballot, there were two of the best football players the Notre Dame Fighting Irish ever had play in the shadow of the Golden Dome.
Raghib “Rocket” Ismail and Aaron Taylor are on this years ballot. The inductees will be announced on Monday, January 7th in 2019.
The criteria for Hall of Fame consideration include:
• First and foremost, a player must have received First-Team All-America recognition by a selector organization that is recognized by the NCAA and utilized to comprise their consensus All-America teams.
