The Shamrock Series football game between Notre Dame and Wisconsin will be played Sept. 5, 2026 at Lambeau Field, both schools announced Monday.
The game was originally scheduled to be played last season, but became a casualty when the Big Ten announced an abbreviated conference-only schedule in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, Notre Dame will play three Big Ten teams in 2026.
The two teams will meet this year on Sept. 25 at Soldier Field, with Wisconsin being designated as the home team. The two-game neutral site series was first announced in August 2017.
