After the departure of Chip Long and subsequent promotion of Tommy Rees to offensive coordinator, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish had a vacancy to fill with the position of tight ends coach. Looks like they have found their guy in John McNulty.
Irish Illustrated reported on January 29th that McNulty was the top man for the job after interviewing with the Notre Dame staff as was expected to get the position. From the below February 8th tweet by Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports and The Athletic, looks like that hire is definitely happening.
