The transfer portal reopened on Tuesday and only one Notre Dame football player made a jump to leave, and that was punter Bryce McFerson.

The North Carolina native averaged 45.1 yards per punt in 2023. Bryce only punted the ball 38 times, so he did not qualify for national rankings — but he was excellent.
