After announcing that he would be transferring from Notre Dame, Johnny Williams didn’t seem to have any transfer options in mind. After not playing at all in his freshman season, playing time, as well as being near family seemed to be important to Williams. When a player decides to transfer early on like Williams, the school’s that previously recruited him are possible landing spots. It appears that could be the case here.

Williams, a native of Benton Harbor, MI, originally committed to Missouri before making the decision to come to Notre Dame.
