Cornerback Noah Boykin is seeking a transfer and has put his name in the transfer portal. Boykin was a major National Signing Day win for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in February of 2018 and chose the Irish over the perceived favorite, the Virginia Cavaliers.
The Irish needed a handful of cornerbacks in that cycle, and signed four of them. Boykin was the highest rated cornerback, but it was TaRiq Bracy that saw time as a freshman while Boykin took a planned redshirt for 2018. D.J. Brown, another cornerback in the class was moved to safety this spring.
