It had been a relatively quiet year for for Notre Dame football alum Kyle Rudolph up until Sunday. The Vikings tight end had only nine receptions on the year and hadn’t crossed the goal line.
That changed against the Lions.
Rudolph caught five balls for 58 yards and a touchdown — one of four thrown by Kirk Cousins on the day in a 42-30 win. The Viking offense looks to have woken up, and that’s a great sign for Rudolph. As Minnesota’s passing game continues to roll, Rudolph is likely to continue playing a major part in their success.
