Back from a little holiday hiatus, and what a good position group to start back with. The four aforementioned players are Zack Martin, Ronnie Stanley, Mike McGlinchey and Robert Hainsey. The first three continued a trend of Notre Dame starting left tackles drafted in the first round under Brian Kelly, and Robert Hainsey enters his final season at Notre Dame as a four year starter at right tackle — assuming no change of position.
Let’s begin with Hainsey.
Robert Hainsey (2017-Present)
Let me preface this by saying, that while Hainsey technically only started one game at right tackle during his freshman season, he was essentially a co-starter with current starting right guard Tommy Kraemer while the two split time the entire season.
