Michigan linebacker Adam Shibley tries to tackle Penn State running back Keyvone Lee during the second half of Michigan's 27-17 loss at Michigan Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020.
The Notre Dame football team added a veteran linebacker to the room on Thursday, as former Michigan linebacker Adam Shibley announced he will walk on in South Bend. The Irish have one of the best linebacker coaches in all of college football in Marcus Freeman, so it makes a lot of sense that Shibley would want to continue his collegiate career at Notre Dame.
Shibley announced his intentions on Instagram on Thursday night:
It did not take Shibley long to pick the Irish to finish out his college career, as he just entered the transfer protocol last week, deciding to leave the Wolverines program.
