5th year senior Dillan Gibbons has announced his decision to enter the transfer portal rather than play his final year for Notre Dame.
Gibbons has been a career backup during his time in South Bend with only one start for his career (Syracuse) but he played an important part on special teams.
Last year he was on the same level with Josh Lugg when needed, and against the Florida State Seminoles he made a huge impact on the game. When Liam Eichenberg was knocked out of the game with an injury to his eye, Aaron banks moved out to left tackle and Gibbons — not Lugg — came out to play left guard.
