The Irish are coming off another close victory last week vs. Vanderbilt, and while the performance seemed like a slight increase from Ball State, there are still plenty of question marks moving forward about this team. Notre Dame football still leaves a lot to be desired on offense. While the play of Brandon Wimbush was fine vs Vanderbilt, going 13-23 for 206 total yards and no turnovers, the play-calling seemed to take a step back and hindered the offense all afternoon.
On a more positive note, the Irish offensive line and running game seemed to take a step forward last week after a rough outing vs Ball State.
