The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are now 11-0 after beating the Syracuse Orange, 36-3. This could easily be called the best performance of the season. Other than settling for field goals in the red zone, it was a pretty much flawless game. It was an impressive beatdown of the 12th-ranked team in the country. Syracuse had absolutely no answer for Notre Dame in any phase of the game. It was rather easy for me to pick three players to highlight.
The biggest play of the game was made by Alohi Gilman. He broke up a Syracuse pass and intercepted the ball, returning it to the 10-yard line.
