The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are ranked #5 in the country and come back to South Bend this week for its home opener against the MAC’s Northern Illinois Huskies. The Irish are riding high after the big win in College Station over the Texas A&M Aggies and will be looking to take care of business in front of a sellout home crowd.
Notre Dame fans are more than used to sweltering home openers over the years, but on Saturday, everyone will get their first real taste of fall weather.
