When Notre Dame football fans sit around their immaculate backyard fire pits in July, they often talk about the Irish schedule. This year, there was a lot of focus on the Florida State Seminoles and getting them up to South Bend in November. That focus was twofold... FSU will likely be the toughest game of the year, and that we can’t wait to get them at night in November for what surely will be a cold weather game.
We were immaculately wrong about everything (which is true for a lot of July takes).
