The Notre Dame Fighting Irish just got their butts whooped by the Miami-Florida Hurricanes. It was humiliating and very, very thorough. Much of what happened in Miami had to do with the mindset of the team - players and coaches alike.
Despite the obvious “low” that the Irish must have felt, and probably still feel, they have to clear their minds and prepare their bodies for what will be a very physical game against the Navy Midshipmen.
The Irish are 8-2 and ranked #8 by the college football playoff committee. So, despite the despair we all felt on Saturday night (and most likely Sunday as well) there is some hope of a really good ending to the season.
