The Irish are just hours away from playing their first ACC opponent of three that they have scheduled for this week. Wake Forest is traveling to Notre Dame to take on the #25 ranked Fighting Irish, but the Irish may be without its star player once again.
Although it was easy enough to defeat a team like Boston College without Demetrius Jackson, the cold reality of what he means to the Notre Dame basketball team was brought to he light when the Fighting Irish faced a talented team on the road in the Syracuse Orange.
Against Syracuse, Notre Dame looked absolutely lost on both sides of the court.
