First the Irish would strike. Then DePaul couldn’t miss. But Notre Dame stayed consistent in the first half taking advantage of the opportunities DePaul would give them.
It was an odd sight to see, but an early struggle for the Irish came in the turnover department. Head coach Mike Brey has had many teams pride themselves on how efficient they are with the ball. They rarely make mistakes that result in turnovers.
With such a young team this season, you would think there would be some give in that department, but so far that has failed to be true.
