The Notre Dame Fighting Irish hosted former Big East foe, Georgetown inside Purcell Pavilion on Saturday afternoon, and ended up taking a loss thanks to fades at the end of the first and second half.
Notre Dame built up a 36-26 lead late in the first half, but the Hoyas came firing back in the last minute and a half with a 7-0 run to cut the Irish lead to just two points at halftime.
The Irish got off to a bad start in the second half with the Hoyas going on a 15-4 run to start the second half, but thanks to Julian Roper and Braeden Shrewsberry, Notre Dame was able to keep it close as they went late into the game.
