Notre Dame Basketball Adds Former Star to the Staff

Former Notre Dame basketball star Ryan Humphrey has reportedly been hired by Mike Brey to take over as assistant coach. Humphrey will fill one of the voids left by Martin Inglesby and Anthony Solomon after both left for other jobs. Over the past two seasons Humphrey has served as the Director of Player Development at Northwestern under head coach Chris Collins. All signs point to this being a great hire.

Humphrey starred for the Irish from 2000-2002 after transferring from Oklahoma where he was an All-Big 12 performer. In his first year with the Irish he averaged 14.
