Notre Dame catcher, Carson Tinney, had a wonderful Easter weekend on the road against Stanford. The sophomore absolutely raked during a series sweep in conference play, and the NCBWA took notice.

Tinney Tabbed as NCBWA National Co-Hitter of the Week
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has named sophomore catcher Carson Tinney as the Dick Howser Trophy National Co-Hitter of the Week presented by The Game Headwear.
Tinney hit .750 (9-for-12) throughout Notre Dame’s sweep of Stanford with nine hits, two doubles, four home runs, seven RBI and 10 runs scored.
