Recruiting is the life blood of a college football team’s roster. Last night, Notre Dame’s defensive line dominated the Temple offensive line. Major recruits, Sheldon Day, Issac Rochell and Jerry Tillery, made significant contributions to the Irish effort. Notre Dame needs to continue to add talented players along the defensive line to repeat this type of performance.

On Sunday, Notre Dame added a commitment from Norcoss (GA) Defensive End Robert Beal. Beal, a major 2017 recruit, selected Notre Dame over Georgia.
Beal measures 6’4″ and weighs in at 210 lbs. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the 73rd player in the 2017 class.
