In 2018, the NCAA’s Football Oversight Committee approved the addition of three new bowl games. Los Angeles and Myrtle Beach were two of the most recent additions, and now you can add Boston as the third.
According to Stadium’s Brett McMurphy, Fenway Park will be the host to a new bowl game starting in 2020. The yet to be named bowl game will be between the ACC and AAC (American). The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are a part of the ACC bowl package, so there is a chance moving forward, that Notre Dame could return to Fenway Park.
