Most people figured that the 2018 football season would be the last one that former three star defensive tackle Micah Dew-Treadway would play for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. For whatever reason, the project player was never able to put it all together on the field for Notre Dame, and he was being passed on the depth chart by younger players.
There is also the ever present scholarship numbers crunch, and the Irish had some decisions to make.
It only made sense for MDT to move on and use his final year of eligibility somewhere else.
