Notre Dame kicks off its 2016 football campaign on Sunday night against the University of Texas Longhorns in Austin, TX. This is the first time in ten years that the Fighting Irish have played in a true road game to begin the season, as this contest completes a home and home series with Texas that opened with a dominant 38-3 Notre Dame victory last year.
