The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are due for a break in ACC play. They just HAVE to be. After playing a good North Carolina team on the road tough, the Irish will play host to another ranked ACC squad, the N.C. State Wolfpack.
While the future looks very bright for the Irish, the present is an exercise of stumbling around in the dark. There are no delusions here... this is a rough season. How do you get through one of these seasons? Well, you have to steal one or two games from your conference opponents.
