The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will take on the Syracuse Orange today inside Yankee Stadium as a part of the Shamrock Series. While this is the best matchup of the day, ESPN chose to send GameDay to Orlando instead — and I couldn’t be happier.
This game didn’t need anymore distractions than what Notre Dame already provided with the whole Shamrock Series thing. It’s late in the season, and with Notre Dame seemingly just needing two more wins for the playoffs — BRING THIS BABY HOME.
