Kevin Stepherson, whose off-field troubles led to his dismissal from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team, has resurfaced at Jacksonville State.
Stepherson caught 19 passes for 359 yards for the Irish in 2017, his final season in South Bend. He also demonstrated his speed and versatility by rushing five times for 76 yards.
The Jacksonville native was an early enrollee in the Irish’s 2016 class, but he ran afoul of the law for the first time that summer when four Notre Dame players were stopped by police in Fulton County and charged with possession of marijuana.
