Rod West, former Notre Dame Fighting Irish football player and board member of the National Football Foundation, shared his thoughts on Black History and its connections to football, his career experiences and current events.
(Rod West joined the National Football Foundation Board of Directors in 2013. He currently serves as the Utility Group President at the Entergy Corporation, an integrated $20 billion energy company headquartered in New Orleans. West played linebacker and tight end at Notre Dame from 1986-89, and he was a member of the 1988 National Championship team.
