The Notre Dame Fighting Irish thought they landed something special in February of 2018 on National Signing Day when 4-Star cornerback Noah Boykin gave them his signature. It was a fairly big surprise as the word started to spread that Boykin was going to be signing with the Virginia Cavaliers, and was wearing blue and orange at the table.
It was indeed a huge surprise when he chose Notre Dame, and he was immediately considered one of the best defensive backs in the class for Notre Dame.
After spring ball concluded this year, Boykin put his name in the transfer portal and he finally announced his decision on Friday — he will continue his career with the Massachusetts Minutemen.
