Brian Kelly met with reporters today following yesterday’s victory over the Virginia Cavaliers. Kelly touched on injuries, the inconsistency on the offense, and the improvement of his defense. Here are the highlights from his teleconference today.
Injuries
-Daelin Hayes has a torn labrum in his shoulder and is out for the season. Shaun Crawford suffered a dislocated elbow and is out 3-4 weeks. Chase Claypool sprained his ankle, but he should not be limited this week in practice.
-Kelly stated that welcoming back Hayes for a 5th season is “highly possible” from his standpoint.
