Demetrius Jackson to the Boston Celtics

For the second straight season Notre Dame is sending one of it’s own to the NBA. It didn’t turn out like we all thought it would as most of us were expecting Demetrius Jackson to be drafted in the first round, but in the end he was drafted in the second round and 45th overall by the Boston Celtics.

My initial reaction was , “where does he exactly fit with Boston?” The Celtics have a loaded backcourt. They already have an All Star point guard in Isaiah Thomas and a very good backup in Marcus Smart. The Celtics also have Avery Bradley and Evan Turner on the roster.
