Notre Dame wide receiver Corey Holmes has announced his intent to transfer to another program this summer. Holmes will graduate following the completion of his junior year, and is looking at Miami, UCLA, Arizona State, Arizona and North Carolina as potential landing spots. He has two years of NCAA eligibility remaining.
Holmes registered 11 catches for 96 yards during his time at Notre Dame, all of which came during the tumultuous 2016 campaign. He started four of the seven games he played in this year, turning in his best performances in his last two games. Against Virginia Tech, Holmes caught two passes for 26 yards, and against USC, he caught four passes for 29 yards.
