There was a terrorist attack in New Orleans the night before the College Football Playoff Sugar Bowl game between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Georgia Bulldogs. Ten people have been killed and more than two dozen have been injured in the attack.
Because of this incredible tragedy, the need to investigate the incident, and for the safety of everyone involved — the Sugar Bowl will not be played on New Year’s night.
