Even at 10-2, the 2019 college football season for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish has been a little disappointing. While a close loss to the Georgia Bulldogs in a night game in Athens seemed “okay” at the time, the Irish followed that up a month later with a 45-14 pounding by the Michigan Wolverines. The way the Irish lost that game in Ann Arbor is what has all but locked Notre Dame out of a New Years Six game, and basically printed a Camping World Bowl invitation.
For the last month, the Big 12 team opposite Notre Dame in this matchup has basically been the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
