Kmet, a four-star tight end per 247Sports, helped clinch a spot in the state semifinals for his high school (St. Viator, Chicago, IL) baseball team last weekend, as they took home the supersectional title. Kmet struck out nine batters over 5.1 innings in a 13-4 win over Benet Academy. At the dish, he homered and tripled, driving in three.
