Notre Dame has been able to survive a litany of injuries so far in 2015 and it looks like the Irish may have to employ the “next man in” mantra again after star running back CJ Prosise left today’s game in the first quarter with an undisclosed injury.
After converting a third down conversion on Notre Dame’s second drive of the game, CJ Prosise ran off the field favoring his shoulder. Shortly after, he was seen running to the Notre Dame locker room and has yet to return to the game.
Following half-time, ABC/ESPN’s Todd McShay reported that he was unable to get an injury update on Prosise from Notre Dame and was told that there would not not be any until the end of the game.
