Now that the adrenaline rush of seeing the Notre Dame Fighting Irish seeded in the college football playoff has now passed through us all, we gradually turn to the obstacle at hand — the Indiana Hoosiers.
Indiana had a remarkable season in Curt Cignetti’s first year, and regardless of the answer to the question of, “who did they beat?” — this is the best season in Indiana Hoosier history. It also helped give a nice jab to the 49 other states in the Union, as the state of Indiana is the only state with two college football teams in the playoffs.
