While Notre Dame may be known for it’s success on the football field and because of that, ND’s success on the basketball court has gone a bit unnoticed. Historically, Notre Dame actually has one of the better basketball programs in the sport. Throughout it’s history Notre Dame has won 1,795 games. That’s is more than top flight basketball schools like Louisville, Indiana and Arizona. (Yes I realize the Irish haven’t had the postseason success those schools have had) Anyways, Notre Dame still has had a pretty successful basketball program and one of the by-products of that is that they’ve produced some great NBA players.
