The Notre Dame Fighting Irish added another piece to the 2019 recruiting puzzle today when 4 Star Cornerback, Isaiah Rutherford gave his commitment to play college football in South Bend.
The 6’0” 175 defensive back from California chose the Irish over a long list of schools such as the USC Trojans, Oregon Ducks, Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers and more. The California Bears and Colorado Buffaloes were also high on his list.
Rutherford is the 19th commitment in this 2019 class for Notre Dame and the only commit from the state of California.
